GWM Women's Day Competition
Terms and Conditions
Promoter
This competition is organised and promoted by GWM South Africa ("the Promoter").
Competition Period
The competition opens on 04 August 2026 and closes on 06 August 2026 at 11:00 SAST.
Entries received before or after the competition period will not be considered.
Incomplete, fraudulent or invalid entries will not be considered.
Prize
Five (5) GWM customers will each win two (2) tickets (for themselves and one guest) to attend the exclusive GWM Women's Day Event.
The prize includes:
● Access to the GWM Women's Day Event for the winner and one guest.
The prize excludes:
● Travel to and from the venue.
● Accommodation.
● Meals (unless provided at the event).
● Any additional expenses incurred by the winner or their guest.
Winners must be able to attend the event on the scheduled event date.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for cash.
Eligibility
The competition is open to:
● South African residents aged 18 years or older.
● Current GWM vehicle owners.
To claim the prize, winners must provide proof of GWM ownership (for example, vehicle registration documents or any other proof reasonably requested by the Promoter).
Employees, directors, agents and contractors of the Promoter, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
● Follow @GWM_SA on Instagram.
● Like the competition post.
● Share a photo of yourself with your GWM vehicle (delivery day or favourite GWM memory) and tag @GWM_SA.
Only one (1) entry per person will be accepted.
Winner Selection & Notification
Five (5) winners will be selected from all valid entries.
Winners will be contacted via direct message on 06 August 2026 after the competition closes.
The winners will also be announced on GWM South Africa's official social media platforms during the afternoon of 06 August 2026.
Should a selected winner fail to respond within 24 hours, or fail to provide proof of GWM ownership, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Publicity
By entering this competition, participants consent to the Promoter using their name, image and submitted content for promotional, publicity and marketing purposes relating to this competition without additional compensation.
General
● The Promoter's decision regarding all aspects of the competition is final and binding.
● The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition should circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
● The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or incorrectly submitted.
● Winners are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from the event venue.
● This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) or TikTok.
Privacy
Any personal information collected during this competition will be used solely for administering the competition and facilitating prize fulfilment, in accordance with applicable South African privacy legislation.
Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for the administration of the competition.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
