Job Description
The Fleet Key Accounts Manager plays a critical role within the automotive OEM Fleet Division, responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients across the business and dealer network. This role supports fleet management strategy implementation, operational efficiency, compliance, and financial oversight to optimise fleet sales and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
● Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key corporate clients and dealer partners.
● Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, resolving issues, and managing service requests efficiently.
Fleet Management Support
● Support the National Fleet Manager in formulating and implementing effective fleet management strategies.
● Maintain and update fleet business tracking systems, ensuring accurate reflection of sales performance and client-specific needs.
Operational Efficiency
● Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth fleet operations that comply with regulatory requirements and cost control measures.
● Analyse operational data to identify and implement improvements within key accounts.
Documentation and Compliance
● Ensure all client and fleet-related documentation complies with company policies and industry standards.
● Monitor fleet performance metrics and financial data, providing comprehensive reports to senior management.
● Oversee timely collection of fleet customer debts and payments.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Fleet Management, or a related field required
● Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics or fleet management roles, preferably in the automotive or transportation sector
● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple key accounts effectively
● Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address operational challenges
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
