Parts and Accessory Technical Support Consultant – Parts Distribution Centre

Role:

To provide OEM Automotive Parts & Accessory (P&A) business operational support to the OEM dealership network in order to optimise customer experience, parts service delivery, build relationships, drive sales, campaigns and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Parts and Accessories daily business operational support to dealer network and parts with sale customers  

● Parts Technical Assistance and Interpretation on EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue)  

● Assist dealerships with preparation of quotes with assistance in identification of part numbers  

● Drive, adhere to and implement OEM Parts Policies & Procedures  

● Follow up with the factory or factory supply support personnel on orders, part no. creation, pricing  

● Transaction risk management, inventory management and provide ETA updates on back order parts as applicable  

● To optimise customer experience,  parts service delivery, build relationships, drive sales, campaigns and P&A profitability. 

● Align with and drive Parts PDC (Parts Distribution Centre) daily service level goals and operating plan  

● Dealer support for campaigns/promotions to improve sales  

● General ad hoc parts warehouse support functions  

Professional Qualifications and Licences:

● Senior Certificate (Grade 12-Matric) compulsory  

● Parts OEM-related courses and training  

● Degree or Diploma in any Business Discipline will be advantageous.  

● A valid driver’s licence 

Work Experience, Skills and Competencies:

● Motor Industry or related Parts Technical Experience at OEM or Dealer level will be advantageous  

● Understanding of Motor Vehicle Components and Architecture  

● Excellent relationship and service delivery skills  

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills  

● Excellent communicator, team player, professional and interpersonal skills  

● Work well under pressure  

● Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), grammar and writing content  

Working Hours / Travel:

Monday – Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 but can vary from time to time
