Reporting to: Dealer Network Manager
Job Purpose:
The Dealer Network Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, coordination and operational support to the Dealer Network Manager and Network Development Department.
The role ensures the effective administration of dealer network activities, including dealer applications, dealer records, facility projects, corporate identity (CI) implementation, network reporting, dealer communications, and project coordination.
The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating stakeholder engagement, tracking project progress, and supporting the successful execution of dealer network initiatives across South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Network Administration
● Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Dealer Network Manager.
● Maintain accurate dealer records, databases and network documentation.
● Assist with onboarding documentation for new dealer appointments.
● Coordinate dealer application documentation and ensure all required information is submitted.
● Maintain records of dealer agreements, approvals, facility information, and dealer contact details.
● Assist with updating dealer information across all GWM systems and platforms.
● Coordinate dealer correspondence and communication relating to network development activities.
Dealer Facility & Project Coordination
● Assist with the coordination of dealership relocations, facility upgrades, showroom expansions, and CI projects.
● Track project progress and maintain project status reports.
● Coordinate communication between dealers, contractors, suppliers and internal departments.
● Maintain records of project approvals, quotations, timelines and completion certificates.
● Schedule site visits and project meetings when required.
● Follow up on outstanding project requirements and deadlines.
Corporate Identity (CI) Administration
● Maintain records of dealer CI compliance and facility status.
● Track CI implementation progress across the dealer network.
● Coordinate the collection of dealer photographs, floor plans, quotations, and supporting documentation.
● Assist with scheduling CI audits and compliance reviews.
● Maintain CI project trackers and reporting tools.
● Follow up with dealers regarding outstanding CI requirements.
Dealer Applications & Documentation
● Coordinate and track dealer application submissions.
● Ensure all supporting documents are received and filed correctly.
● Prepare dealer application packs for management review.
● Maintain application status trackers and approval records.
● Assist with dealer ownership changes, transfers, acquisitions, and related documentation.
Reporting & Data Management
● Maintain dealer network databases and reporting systems.
● Prepare monthly dealer network reports and project status updates.
● Compile information for management presentations and meetings.
● Update project trackers, facility status reports, and dealer development schedules.
● Assist with the preparation of executive reports and network review presentations.
● Ensure accuracy and completeness of dealer network data.
Meeting & Communication Coordination
● Prepare meeting agendas, minutes and action trackers.
● Follow up on outstanding actions arising from meetings.
● Coordinate communication between internal departments and dealer partners.
● Maintain records of key decisions and project approvals.
Departmental Support
● Assist the Dealer Network Manager with special projects and network development initiatives.
● Coordinate the collection and distribution of dealer information requested by management.
● Provide administrative support for dealer performance reviews and network planning activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Accuracy and maintenance of dealer network records.
● Timely completion of administrative tasks.

Minimum Requirements:
Preferred
● Experience in Project Coordination
● Extensive experience as Business Administration
● Automotive industry experience
Experience:

● 2–5 years' experience in:

○ Automotive OEM or dealership environment
